Abstract

Aplastic anemia is defined as pancytopenia resulting from aplasia of the bone marrow. Aplastic anemia is rare disease with the overall incidence of 2-6 cases per million persons per year. Pregnancy is one of the rare etiologic reasons. In this article it was interviewed a case of aplastic anemia which is beeing followed up by the 3rd internal medicine clinics of Tepecik SSK hospital. The case was 25 years old and was 12 weeks pregnant. She had malasie palpitation and gingival bleeding. After all the tests that were done, she had the diagnosis of aplastic anemia. As we couldn't succeed to find any etiologic factor; we thought the reason for the disease was pregnancy. After she had curettage, she had partial remission and this also, could be a proofof the diagnosis. The case had no complications related to her disease and her follow up is still continuing.
