Abstract

Gangliocytic paragangliomas (GP) are uncommon benign neuroendocrine neoplasms, encountered exclusively in the second portion of the duodenum which can rarely recur and metastase to regional lymph nodes. W e report a 34-year-old woman presented with abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and weight loss. İn the radiological examination of small intestine the tumor located in the jej unum and caused luminal dilatation proximal segment of jej unum above the mass. The patient undervvent segmentary small bowel resection. The patient has been diagnosed as gangliocytic paraganglioma showing lymph node metastasis with histochemical and immunohistochemical propertıes. We are presenting the case due to the exceptional location and rare lymph node metastasis.
