Abstract
A 46 year-old-man developed a "Lucked-in" syndrome due to a vascular lesion in the pons. He was quadriplegic arıd mute, but retained consciousness and communicated by eye movements and blink. Somato-Sensorial Evoked Potentials, Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials and EEG of the patient were ali normal. MRI showed an abnormal signal intensity region in the ventral pons more marked on the right.
