Abstract

The complaints of our a 23 old case started 15 days ago with fever, cough, lateral pain and night sweating, fatigue, loss of weight and extensive abdominal pain accompanied thereafter We did not discover any reproduction in the samples cultured, no positive findings were seen collagen disease and the symptoms did not regress after antibiotic treatment. on the fifteenth day after beginning of bilateral neck and axillary lymphadenopathies. We diagnosed mixed cellular type Hodgkin's by taking a biopsy from left axillary lymph node. High fever dropped, clinical regression has been achieved after 2 cycles of chemotherapy treatment of Adriamycin - Bleocin - Vinblastin - DTIC (ABVD). Althought lymphomas start on superficial nodes, they can rarely emerge on sistemic symptoms. It is very important to initiate treatment early as possible as before the rapid progress following initiation. In our case who started with infection or polyserositis, nonspesific clinical findings and later onset of lymphadenopathies were the main features.
