Abstract

A patient suspected to have bilateral puerperal mammary abscesses and could not stand palpation due to severe pain, went through sonographic examination without any discomfort. In such patients, ultrasonography can exclude the necessity of performig the palpation and puncture procedures under general anesthesia.
