Abstract

Ameloblastoma is an odontogenic tumor that is located in the jaw region and though it is a benign entity it may be locally inuasive. Being the most comman clinically significant odontogenic tumor, it constitutes only 1 percent of the tumors and cysts located in the jaw region. Approximately 80 percent of the tumor is originated from the mandibula and 20 percent from the maksilla. Two cases are presented for their mandibular location. Both patients have applied to our hospital with complaints of post-wisdom teeth extraction swellings. Computerized tomography and orthopantomography showed typical "honey comb" appearence. After total excision, both lesions were diagnosed as ''Ameloblastoma", histopathologically.
