Abstract
A 56-year-old woman was admitted to our general surgery department with complaints of weakness, nausea, vomiting and weight lose. An upper gastrointestinal endoscopic screening showed a 4 cm tumor located from minör curvature to cardio- eosaphageal junction. Pancytopenia was realised and AML diagnosed during preanesthesic evaluation. As Chemotherapy combination Cytarabine and Idarubicine were applied. Total gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y esophageojejunostomy was carried out after AML chemotherapy. Synchronous cancers in gastric cancer patients are infrequent. Coexistence of other cancers should be searched in gastric cancers.
