Abstract

OBJECTIVE

Sturge-Weber syndrome (SWS) is a rare neurocutaneous syndrome. Glaucoma is often seen in children with SWS.

METHODS

General anaesthesia is administered frequently to these patients because of glaucoma surgery and eye examination.

RESULTS

In this case report preoperative evaluation and management of anesthesia were discussed in four patients with SWS and glaucoma.

CONCLUSION

An appropriate anaesthetic management should be planned in children with Sturge-Weber syndrome.
