Abstract
Intractable vertigo attacks can be seen in the ischemic lesions of unilateral vestibuler cortex. We present here two central neurogenic vertigo patients diagnosed by advanced neuroradiologic procedures. In 40 years old male who had nausea, vomiting, ataxia; 41 years old female who had intractable vertigo and ataxia, parietal lob ischemia was diagnosed by Single Photon emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) in the former and Position Emission Tomography (PET) in the later patient. Central origin must be considered in the patients who had intractable vertigo, nausea, vomiting, ataxia and advanced neuroradiologic diagnostic procedures must be performed.
