Abstract

Covid-19 infection, which started to be seen in China in December 2019, has affected the whole world in the following days, caused pandemics, and continues its effect. The fact that the number of pediatric cases was less compared to adult cases in the days when the infection first appeared, gave the researchers the impression that children are not susceptible to this infection. In the following days, with the onset of pediatric cases, data on affected children began to emerge. Although there are many case series related to Covid-19 infection in children, comprehensive reports are lacking. This article reviews the epidemiological characteristics and clinical findings of Covid-19 infection in children with current data.
