Abstract

807 samples which admitted to our laboratories from multiple outpatient clinics were examined for mycologic investigation between 1992 to 1993. We found various types of dermatophytes in 112 (13,9 %) of 807 samples. According to the frequency, 81 (72,3 %) T. rubrum, 9 (8%) M. canis, 8(7,1%) T. Mentagraphytes, 7(6,3%) (Trichophyton sp, 4 (3,6 %) E. floccosum, 1 (0,9%) T. Violaceum, 1(%0,9) T. verrucosum and 1 (0,9 %) M. Audouinii were found.
