Material and Method: One hundred and seven articles published at a journal on family medicine which was chosen with a certain sampling method was evaluated with EURACT Abstract Evaluation Scale. Intended to evaluate the efficiency of the scale, consistency between the independent measurements was searched so that the validity of the scale can be demonstrated. he abstracts of 107 articles was evaluated by 5 arbitrators 4 of whom are academicians and the researcher himself. For the results obtained after the evaluation Cronbach alpha statistical analysis was applied. Also as for the potantiel efficiency of mentioned questions, a factor analysis was performed and total variations of factors was calculated. Results: It was determined that EURACT Abstract Evaluation Scale was valid to evaluate the abstracts of articles published and it was stated that 81(75.7 %) of the abstracts was within standarts when evaluated with this scale. Conclusion: It was thought that in order to evaluate and to standardice the abstracts of articles for the researches performed at primary care and/or about the primary care, EURACT Abstract Evaluation Scale could be used
