Abstract
In this study we evaluated our endoscopic findings in pediatric age group rectrospectively. The study included 65 endoscpic examinations. The majority of presenting symptoms were recurrent abdominal pain in 34 patients (56.6%) and upper gastrointestinal bleeding in 13 patients (21.6%). The main endoscopic findings were gastritis in 35 patients (40.6%) and duodentitis in 15 patients (17.4%), While 18 (20.9%) of cases were normal. We concluded that in pediatric age group, endoscopic examination has enhançed the diagnostic accuracy in upper gastrointestinal disease.
