Abstract

A 10 Month old baby presented with fever, caugh, diarrhea assoiated with splenohepatomegaly, pancytopenia, hypertriglyceridemia and hipofibrinogenemia. There was histiocytosis in the bone marrow examination. He died on the 26th day after being admitted to. He died on the 5th day of the chemoterapy. We determined hemophagocytosis in solid organs on postmortem examination. As a result of these findings he was diagnosed hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis and was reported because it was also a rare and fatal syndrome. Hemophagocytosis, Histiocytosis, Splenohepatomegaly
