676 term and 190 premature, totally 866 newborn infants had been examined to search for scrotal pathologies, especially undescended testes. In 89 of them scrotal pathologies as undescended testes, high scrotal testes and hydrocele had been determined. Suprascrotal and high scrotal testes had been observed more frequently in premature labors and these had a tendency to continue in the following months.
