Abstract
A ten-year old child presented with massive hemoptysis. Chest radiography and computerized tomography revealed a soft tissue mass in left upper lobe. In two days period hemoglobine level decreased rapidly, after blood transfusion, emergent left upper lobectomy was performed. At operation, it was observed that the bleeding was associated with hydatic cyst.
