Abstract
Obesity gradually increased among women in the reproductive age group over the world. Maternal obesity during pregnancy is associated with increased risk for women and fetus. Management of obese pregnant women should begin prior to pregnancy and after maternal obesity is determined, both maternal and fetal risks would decrease with necessary protection. Management of obese pregnancies would be an opportunity for protection of long term complications associated with obesity.
