Abstract

In this study, 8 cases of mucinous carcinomas (2.6 %), which are found in overall 301 mammary carcinoma cases were examined. Five tumors were of the pure type and three were mixed. Ali had abundant neutral and acidic mucin. Of the five pure mucinous tumors, three were devoid of argyrophilic granules. The other two pure mucinous tumors were rich in ar- gyrophilic granules. The pure type (20 %) showed less frequent nodal involvement than in the mixed type (66.6 %)
