Abstract

Syphilis is a contagious disease caused by Treponema pallidum. Congenital syphilis is a clinical entity of which prevalence is increasing in developing countries in recent years. In this report, a possible asymptomatic case of congenital syphilis with Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction is presented in order to emphasize the importance of this disease.
