Abstract

In our country, approximately 120 medical joumals are published in Turkish and English. The readers of these joumals are a very small subgroup of the 60tousand existing medical doctors. These journals are considered as a vehicle publication and distributuon, they are criticized neither by the oreparators nor by the readers. This is an important topic that should be reviewed. Immediately and by taking necessary provisions, the continuity and valuability of the journals should be attained.
