Abstract

The diagnosis of dermatomyositis was made in a patient who had fever and generalized muscle weakness. X- ray of the chest has revealed multiple pulmonary nodular infiltrations during the therapy of corticosteroid, methotrexate and intravenous immunoglobulin. These infiltrations disappeared during the therapy. It is suggested that the infiltrations were due to dermatomyositis after all the other causes were excluded. This case reported because of rarity of pulmonary nodular infiltrations in dermatomyositis and their positive response to intravenous immunoglobulin therapy.
