Abstract

We observed 22 varicocele in children between 1983 - 1990.12 of them (aged 7 - 14) were treated by the ligation of spermatic vein retroperitoneally. Only one of these children had recurrence two years later. Varicocele in childhood should be treated surgically early enough to avoid its potential role on male infertility.
