Abstract

Serum Ca 125 levels of 39 healthy women who have regular menstrual cycle were investigated. They were divided into 3 groups and compared. In Group I women who were on 1-5. and 25-30. menstrual days, in Group II women who were on 6-14. menstrual days, and in Group III women who were on 15-24. menstrual days were included. In Group I CA 125 mean level was statistically greater than in other groups. Also, in Group I there was a negative correlation between CA 125 and progesteron levels. We concluded that the best time for CA 125 analysis is out of first last five days of the cycle.
