Abstract
The e-cigarette, which is increasingly used in the world and in our country, is frequently preferred by young adults with its different aroma, pleasant smell and different designs. Users generally think that e-cigarette is not harmful to human health and is used as a means of quitting smoking traditional cigarettes. Recently, it has been concluded that very few researches have been conducted on e-cigarettes threatening human health due to both technical and physiological reasons and that sufficient number of quality control and health researches have not been performed before they are marketed. The aim of this review is to present different studies on e-cigarettes between 2009-2019, to discuss the possible damages of e-cigarettes and to determine the approaches and recommendations that can be applied in reducing the use of e-cigarettes. It is thought that this review will contribute to further studies to be performed about the effects of e-cigarette on human health.
