Abstract
A 70-year-old was examined due to headache and blurred vision in his right eye. An anterior segment mass was detached with slit-lamp examination. The tumor eroded the iris root. Full ophthalmic examination, including B-scan ultrasonography and ultrasound biomicroscopy together with orbital magnetic resonance imaging and systemic examinations were carried out. Ultrasound biomicroscopic result was almost similar to slit lamp findings. A ciliary body tumor can be missed easily in slit- lamp evaluation. Ultrasound biomicroscopy seems to be an important adjunct in diagnosis of such tumors.
