We studied 35 children with fulminant hepatitis followed between the years 1984-1990. Their coınplaints, cilinical features, laboratory findings and results of treatment were evaluated. The mortality rate was 82.9 percent. All the surviving patients received the combined therapy including exchange transfusion and treatment with corticosteroids and L-Dopa.
