Abstract
5 years old boy with recurrent abdominal pain was diagnosed as H. Pylori infection. In follow-up, due to development of soft tissue swelling and fever, Familial Mediterrenian Fever (FMF) was thought. Second case was a 15 years old boy who was thought to have FMF for persistence of clinical situation while taking steroid treatment with diagnosis of Henoch Schönlein vasculitis, and in both cases there was good response to colchicine and diagnosis was confirmed with mutation analysis. These cases show that FMF should be considered in the differential diagnosis of febrile patients having treated for other diagnosis.
